Our Location

Close to local tourist attractions and outdoor recreation hotspots, The Stoke Hotel is located along TransCanada Highway #1, just east of downtown Revelstoke. With the banks of the Columbia River to the south, the Revelstoke Golf Club to the east and Mt. Revelstoke National Park just to the west, our hotel offers easy access to all things outdoorsy as well as all the shops and services of the downtown area.

Eat + Drink

Eat, drink and be happy at local eateries and pubs in the downtown area, about half an hour’s walk or a five-minute drive from The Stoke Hotel. And, of course, grab a free ride to Rivercity Pub & Patio, 112 Restaurant and Lounge, Traverse night club and both liquor stores with our free shuttle service from the hotel.

River City Pub & patio

The River City Pub & Patio in downtown Revelstoke is the perfect spot for laid-back pub-style dining with all the classics, like fish and chips, burgers, wraps, nachos and other pub-inspired specialties. Don’t forget to chase it all down with a Mt. Begbie Brewing Company beer! During warmer spring and summer months, their patios are the place to be: The elevated front patio overlooks First Street and the historic downtown area at the front, while the back patio is centered around an outdoor fireplace. Every night, this place transforms into a night club with a shooter bar, wicked sound system, dance floor, pool, and more. Complimentary shuttle service to the River City Pub & Patio is available.

112 Restaurant and Lounge

112 Restaurant and Lounge is a trendy sit-down eatery with live music in the evenings and a fresh menu featuring local produce, fresh BC salmon, fantastic steak and lobster, and a great selection of Revelstoke’s own Mt. Begbie Brewing Company beers. Complimentary shuttle service to the 112 Restaurant and Lounge is available.

Up Your Own

If you want to pick up your own drinks, head over to Cheers Liquor Stores, which are two privately licensed liquor stores with a fantastic selection of imported, domestic and local micro-brewery offerings. Cheers Liquor Store also has a super-handy delivery service. Our free shuttle can also gladly take you there and back.

Get Some Fresh Air

Mount Revelstoke National Park is a pristine wild-land of dense rainforest, craggy peaks and lush valley floors. Before you head to the park, take a look through the Parks Canada website for park recommendations, safety tips, and more. You should also check out the Revelstoke Dam, a 175-metre high concrete dam that powers the city. The visitors’ centre also has cool exhibits detailing how water is turned into clean energy, as well interactive displays, a First Nations Gallery and a gift shop.

Hiking

Escape to the peace and quiet of the forest trails surrounding Revelstoke. Find a complete listing of pathways and trails here, including the popular Revelstoke Green Belt Pathway, a 3-km paved trail following the Columbia and Illecillewaet Rivers with access within 100 metres of our hotel, as well as from Centennial Park.

Rafting

Take on the rapids with Revelstoke’s longest-running river rafting company - Apex Rafting leads an exhilarating 26-km journey down the Illecillewaet River, complete with 20 rapids through the Revelstoke National Park.

Golf

The Revelstoke Golf Club located minutes from The Stoke Hotel offers a classic PAR 72 layout, complete with three practice greens and a practice bunker, four sets of tees for players of all levels, a golf shop and a unique clubhouse restaurant.

Mountain Biking + Cycling

Cross-country, all-terrain, downhill mountain biking and city cycling: Revelstoke has it all. Explore Revelstoke downtown, with oodles of boutique shops and charismatic eateries. First on your to-see list should be Grizzly Plaza, about 10 minutes from The Stoke. Surrounded by charming retail shops and cute cafes, this open-air pedestrian-only gathering place in downtown Revelstoke plays host to lively festivals, sports events, local farmers’ markets and other community events. Another great option: The Cabin, a lounge-bowling alley-outdoor sports store all rolled up into one.

The historic Roxy Theatre is the place to go for entertainment in Revelstoke - originally a hardware store built in 1904, the building was converted into a movie theatre and took on a cool art-deco facade in 1938. Check it out for great movie screenings and local events!

After regular restaurant hours, check out Traverse night club at The Regent - this place transforms from cool pub by day to hot club by night, complete with a dance floor, shooter bar, pool, an awesome sound system and more. Leave the keys behind - grab a free shuttle to and from the restaurant and night club.

Also nearby: The Revelstoke Railway Museum, one of Canada’s top railway museums detailing the Canadian Pacific Railway’s nation-building history. Or, see a full restored 1923 International Bickle fire engine and other relics from Revelstoke’s firefighting history at The Revelstoke Firefighter’s Museum.

For an afternoon of indoor water fun, the Revelstoke Aquatic Centre is less than 10 minutes by car from The Stoke Hotel.
