Mount Revelstoke National Park is now fully open with a variety of hiking trails to explore. One of the most popular hiking trails is called Meadows in the Sky. Many tourists come from all over the world to see the wild flowers that bloom so freely, spreading their colours on all the mountain peaks. The park offers beginner, intermediate and advanced hiking trails some which are more easily accessible than others.
A few of the alpine hiking trails in Revelstoke National Park including Jade and Eva are only open for about 2 months of the whole year due to snow fall. With only a couple of months to enjoy the alpine trails, this is a great time of year to take in and admire the scenic views while they are in their prime. The surrounding landscape in the park is just sensational and offers visitors a 360 panoramic view of the mountain ranges. Mount Revelstoke National Park has some of the most spectacular hiking trails in Canada which makes it a hiker’s paradise.
Mount Revelstoke National Park maintains a paved driveable road that takes you up 26 km of switch backs until you reach the alpine, with many view points along the way. The road is a great savior from having to hike all the way to the top to enjoy the breath-taking scenery. For some people it may even be their first opportunity to stand on top of a mountain range.
